Regional Snowmobile Racing event this weekend in Medway, Maine. Racing Teams are coming from all over the Northeast USA and Canada.for shot at $10K Bonus purse and individual Class winner payouts. Under the Lights on Friday night is a 1st for this type of event.  1st Points event on January 8th and 9th we had over 50 individual entries with a  top speed of 125.45 mph in 5.025 seconds on a 660 ft. solid ice, 2-lane track on land. We have a complete Porta-Tree timing system, fully computerized Control Tower with local FM Announcer broadcast and closed circuit TV broadcast to clubhouse.

January 13, 2011 - The office of Governor- Elect Paul Lepage would like to hear from businesses in Piscataquis County! Throughout his campaign Governor Elect LePage pledged to work with the business community to eliminate unnecessary roadblocks to job creation as well as tackle regulatory reform. In an effort to get an early jump on this critical issue, Governor-Elect LePage has begun to reach out to the business community. The goal is a simple one; to get employers ideas and input on methods to reduce or eliminate instances of regulatory roadblocks to job creation and business prosperity. Governor Elect Paul LePage has asked the Maine State Chamber of Commerce to assist him in this effort by working with local chambers of commerce to schedule "Red Tape Removal" Audit meetings around the State.

The Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA) Annual Forecast Conference, which each year attracts more than 500 attendees from around the state, will be held this year on Thursday, January 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn By the Bay, 88 Spring Street, Portland, ME.

“The Forecast Conference has grown to become the most important gathering of the year for all the key players in Maine’s commercial real industry,” said Tom Lea, MEREDA President, and Senior Vice President and Group Manager of Commercial Real Estate at Peoples United Bank. “The conference provides a unique opportunity to take stock of the economy and gain insights into where our industry is headed in the months ahead.
