Red Tape Removal Workshop ( 7:30 a.m. )

January 13, 2011 - The office of Governor- Elect Paul Lepage would like to hear from businesses in Piscataquis County! Throughout his campaign Governor Elect LePage pledged to work with the business community to eliminate unnecessary roadblocks to job creation as well as tackle regulatory reform. In an effort to get an early jump on this critical issue, Governor-Elect LePage has begun to reach out to the business community. The goal is a simple one; to get employers ideas and input on methods to reduce or eliminate instances of regulatory roadblocks to job creation and business prosperity. Governor Elect Paul LePage has asked the Maine State Chamber of Commerce to assist him in this effort by working with local chambers of commerce to schedule "Red Tape Removal" Audit meetings around the State.
