Renowned Portland artist John Swan's works are usually on display in galleries in various parts of the world. The last place you expect him to be displaying his art would be at an art show in a local rehabilitation and residential facility but that is exactly what is happening on Tuesday July 12 when the corridors of Portland's St Joseph's Rehabilitation and Residence will take on the atmosphere and feel of an art gallery as it hosts its inaugural Annual Art Show.
John's work will be on display along with those of other local artists AND the work of St Joe's residents, some who do art as a hobby and others as a therapy.

What: Renowned artist John Swan headlining a public art show at a Nursing Home! The show is open to the public and many of the works on display will be for sale. Sparkling cider and hors d 'oeuvres will be served and a pianist and violinist will be providing background musical ambience.
