Excitement Grows for Hospice Variety Show | Community Spirit

As April 27th draws closer, the staff of Pine Tree Hospice along with local musicians, actors, dancers and the public are eagerly anticipating the annual Hospice Variety Show. The event is scheduled for April 27th from 7 – 9 pm at the Center Theatre and as in past years, admission is by donation.

“We are excited by this year’s show,” said Jane Stitham, Executive Director of Pine Tree Hospice, “We’re thrilled to have the Foxcroft Academy Select Choir back again this year, but are also looking forward to hearing selections from the Center Theatre’s Night on Broadway show. We have young actors from the Piscataquis Regional YMCA’s Drama Workshop, Beth Weatherbee’s dance students, pickers from the Monson General Store, and lots of other great talent.  It’s a wonderful evening of entertainment for the whole family and we would like to invite everyone to attend.  All proceeds benefit the programs and services of Pine Tree Hospice,” Stitham added, “It’s one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and we hope to fill the Theatre for this special evening.”

Since its founding in 1985, Hospice has developed a wide range of programs and services targeted to its mission including Respite Care, Transportation, Education, Patient and Family Advocacy, Bereavement Support and more.
