MWPA Hosts November Writing Workshops

The Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance (MWPA) has launched a new series of Saturday writing workshops in November. The workshops are hosted in communities around the state and focus on a variety of writing disciplines, including memoir, poetry, and more.

On November 10, award-winning author Elizabeth Peavey will teach the memoir workshop “The Best Truth: How Honest Are You Willing To Be?” at USM’s Glickman Family Library in Portland, and poet Ellen Goldsmith will teach “The Poetry of Art” at the at the Rockland Public Library.

On November 17, Denis Ledoux will teach the memoir workshop “Lifewriting” at USM’s Glickman Family Library in Portland, and celebrated author Jennifer Jacobson will teach “Examining the Middle Grade & Young Adult Novel in Progress” at the Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick.
